CrypKey SDK

The Developer's Choice for Encryption Copy Protection

CrypKey SDK differs from CrypKey Instant in that it offers software developers greater flexibility to implement customized licensing strategies. With this version, CrypKey's function calls are imbedded, by the developer, into the source code of the application it is protecting. Some examples of the advanced functionality offered in CrypKey SDK include the ability to:

‧	create custom dialog boxes
‧	protect specific aspects of an application (e.g., print functionality) without protecting the application in its entirety
‧	determine at what point during the user's experience with the application that authorization is required

CrypKey's own CloneBuster technology, which prevents hard drive copying through accessing and logging permanent, read-only hard drive serial numbers (HDSN), is common to both CrypKey SDK and CrypKey Instant.

CrypKey SDK's other innovative features include:

‧	enterprise network licensing — enables a protected program to function anywhere on the enterprise network
‧	enhanced license transfer — permits users to transfer licenses out of and back into a license pool

System Requirements

The system requirements of CrypKey SDK are:

‧	386 (or better) microprocessor with 8 MB RAM
‧	1 MB free hard drive space
‧	Windows 2000, 2003, NT, and XP

Customers who require support for Windows ME or Windows 98 will have an additional $200 US added to their Annual Subscription fee.

Note: CrypKey SDK requires that approximately 1 MB or 10 files must be appended to or distributed with the protected application's EXE.
